A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

Tanki Offline is a top-down alien-themed tank shooter developed for the GBA as one of the CS 2261 assignments. Featuring tanks, alien ships, movement speed and unlimited bullet power-ups, and a null zone!

You find yourself the commander of a lone tank unit amidst an alien attack! Use your movement to maneuver through their swift attacks, then fire precise tank shells to deliver a devastating blow! These alien ships may be advanced, but it's nothing good ol' firepower can't handle!

Manual

  • Press the corresponding START key to begin the game.
  • Pressing START while in-game will pause the game. Press START again while in this phase to resume, or SELECT to return to menu.
  • Pressing START while in the win or lose screen will return you to the main menu.
  • Use the corresponding LEFT, RIGHT, UP, and DOWN keys to move the tank!
  • Press the A button anytime to fire a tank shell!

Install instructions

This game was developed for the GBA. As such, either a physical Gameboy Advance or an emulator will be required to run the game. To run the game on a Windows or Mac device, install the mGBA emulator. Then, open the .zip file through the emulator.
