Overdrive is a 2D pixelated platformer hack and slash developed for the GBA as part of the CS 2261 final project, featuring character attack combos, 3 different unique enemies, and a variety of hazards to avoid!
Play as the mysterious swordsman and navigate through a sci-fi laboratory, slashing and dashing your way through enemies and obstacles alike! Perfect the game's overdrive mechanic, dodging at the perfect time to trigger attack buffs, time slowdown, and cool grayscale visual effects! Explore the hidden controls to unlock the demon blade, which provides an additional ranged attack!

Install instructions
This game was developed for the GBA. As such, either a physical Gameboy Advance or an emulator will be required to run the game. To run the game on a Windows or Mac device, install the mGBA emulator. Then, open the .zip file through the emulator.
